On 6Th July 2021, Mr. Sven Krauspe, Deputy of the General Consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany in Erbil hosted the Kurdistan Center for International Law (KCIL).

Mr. Hawre Ahmed, the Executive Director of KCIL thanked the Consulate for responding his initiation. The Executive Director firstly introduced the KCIL and explained the importance of an academic Kurdish German Center for  internalizing and domesticating  the general principles of international law for strengthening the rule of law in accordance with the international law standards in Kurdistan, then they spoke about Center’s activities, projects and plans, they emphasized the need to work together to take advantage from the experience and academics of Germany. Mr. Sven Krauspe confirmed that the Consulate will cooperate and support the Center.
